Mission StatementThe Mission of Dougherty Comprhensive High School is to educate all students academically, socially, and emotionally in a positive climate. The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. Principal's MessageDear DCHS Students, Parents & Guardians, On behalf of the faculty, staff and administration, I welcome you to Dougherty Comprehensive High School. Your enrollment as a Trojan automatically makes you part of a long standing tradition of excellence in athletics, arts, academics, and many other state and nationally recognized co-curricular activities. My hope is that the experience provided by our faculty and staff will be both stimulating and varied leading you to prosperity and opportunity. My charge to you is that you dedicate your energy to being positive, productive, cooperative members of the DCHS family. We firmly believe that a strong home and school partnership, along with consistent communications, will help our children achieve in a safe and positive learning environment. The policies and procedures in this handbook are designed to guide you through this school year.
