PEP CLUB

Sponsor: Ms. Kimberly Johnson and Mrs. Leslie Wilks

What is the Pep Club?

Pep Club is an organization made up of students from every grade that work to increase school spirit and try to provide a positive example for their peers.

What do they do?

Pep Club sponsors and members run a variety of activities in the school and out in the community. Some examples of these activities are:

J         Attend all home games of each sport that our school represents.

à       Make posters, buttons, etc to display at the games and learn cheers from our cheerleaders to show school spirit at the games.

J         Spirit Week Pep Assembly

à       Pep Club runs two to three Pep Assemblies a year to honor our sports teams as well as to boost school spirit during spirit weeks. Pep Club plans and prepares games, posters, and scripts/skits for each of these events.

J         Random Acts of Kindness Month

à             Pep Club chooses one month in the middle of the school year and declares it Random Acts of Kindness month. During this month, we do things like giving breakfast to the bus drivers, hand out small bags of candy, hang positive quotes all around the school and write notes of appreciation to those who deserve them.

When?

Pep Club meets before or after school. Meetings are held once a week while we prepare for a big event, and every few weeks during our “off” periods.
