The mission of Lincoln Elementary Magnet School, with family and community    support, is to provide an  appropriate learning environment in order for students to succeed in      academics, develop patriotism, citizenship and self-esteem.

 

I would like to wish each of you a Happy New Year. We have completed half of the school year with lots of success. We are a Georgia School of    Excellence and we recently received the 2009 Single Statewide Accountability System Gold Award from the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement for outstanding student achievement. It takes the collaborative efforts of parents, students, teachers, and administrators to gain this level of success. Lincoln is one of only 31 elementary schools in the state of Georgia to receive this award. We are looking forward to greater  success in 2010. Lincoln is a school filled with a zest for learning, respect for feelings, outstanding parental support, students that are committed to learning, and educators committed to teaching. The administrators are committed to providing your child a disciplined learning environment conducive to learning. Thank you for all that you do as we pull together to strive for excellence.
