The Third Grade at Lincoln is a year of challenge and high expectations. There are six classes with a total of 130 students. Each classroom has a paraprofessional. The Third Grade teachers and their para-pros are Room 222- Kanese Shavers Veronica Clay Room 218- Heather Hurst Patricia Lopez Room 216- Diana Jones Shamonica Smith Room 220- Loretta Shorter Hope Smith Room 214- Mary Powell Deborah Robinson Room 224 - Alvette Johnson Frankie Freeman In the third grade, students are expected to stand and greet visitors. The students also stand to speak. They answer in complete sentences and write in cursive at all times. By the end of the year, our students will have mastered all of the multiplication facts and have a basic knowledge of long division. Our curriculum stresses patriotism and self esteem. We teach all seven subjects everyday. We also have projects and field trips throughout the year. In the spring of each year, third grade students take the CRCT. As you can see, third grade at Lincoln is a busy place. Come join us!
