Robert A. Cross Middle School is a fully accredited magnet program that
specializes in preparing our students to be responsible, achieving
citizens in today’s ever-changing world. All
academic areas receive emphasis, and instructional time is rarely
interrupted. Every student
is taught on the same high level to ready them for higher education, and
tutoring sessions during and after school are available for those who
may need extra instruction.
Academics are also balanced with exploration (connection) classes in the
fine arts, technological skills, and health and physical education.
Parental involvement begins on the first day of enrollment; all
parents sign a contract which makes them an active partner in their
child’s education. Robert Cross students are consistently the highest-achieving students on state and federally-mandated standardized tests, and our alumni go on to even greater achievements in high school and beyond.
