Exploring Technology
INSTRUCTOR: SUE S. GERST
The goal of Technology and Engineering Education is to
introduce students to the principles of Technology and
Engineering and their places in the modern world.
Students will learn how technological systems are
used in their own lives.
They will gain knowledge of how these systems can be
merged with their own interests to develop potential
careers. 
In Technology and Engineering Education, students apply the
design process to develop conclusions and solutions.
The impact of technology on society is also
investigated.
Areas of math, science, social studies, and language arts
are reinforced using practical applications and hands-on
activities.
Problem solving skills are exercised in a variety of
activities such as creating paper towers or folder cars and
solving conundrums.
Understanding the importance of a good work ethic is basic
