Hello Parents,

  Ways to help at home

• Look for direct relationships and discuss them with your child.  For example, if you earn an hourly wage, how will your earnings change as the number of hours you work changes?
• On a car trip, choose a distant object such as a telephone pole.  Ask you child to notice how the height of the object seem to change as your car gets closer to the object.  Discuss the relationship between the distance away and apparent height.
