Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

Mission: FBLA offers students the chance to experience leadership and other fundamentals of success, while being engaged in fun and rewarding activities.  Members learn through participating in a variety of projects and events that help them build their skills, while contributing to the improvement of the community in which they live, their school, and their chapter.
Activities: Regional and State competition, community service projects, connecting chapters activities, fundraising and varies state and national projects

Students Against Violence Everywhere (S.A.V.E.)

Mission: to provide education about the effects and consequences of violence and helps to provide safe activities for students, parents, and communities.
Activities: Yearly community workshop, participate in Christmas parade. Save Day. Advocate nonviolence everywhere and S.A.V.E. Youth Advisory for conflicts resolution.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)

Mission: To promote personal growth and leadership development through family and consumer sciences education.  Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader, members develop skills for life through- character development; creative and critical thinking; interpersonal communication, practical knowledge and vocational preparation.
Activities: Competition at GA National Fair, school appreciation days, monthly meetings, community service projects, photography: still and digital, and varies state and national projects

Beta Club

Mission: To promote the ideals of character, service and leadership among elementary, secondary school students to reward meritorious achievement and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school.
Activities: Varies community service projects and fundraisers

Teenage Support Council (TASCO)

Mission: To develop individual student potential to serve as role models. To develop decision making and problem solving skills. To promote prevention of violence and substance abuse. To promote positive peer relationships. To improve communication skills. To improve leadership skills. To increase awareness of community resources. To enhance self-esteem and self discipline.
Activities: Red Ribbon Week, Peer Helper Conference, smokeout , monthly meetings

Mission: To have a successful prom for the 8th grade scholars.
Activities: Plan, organize and raise money for 8th grade prom

Mission: To provide meaningful learning experiences for Science students

Art Club

Mission: To offer art related activities to students through an after school program that enriches their social, cultural, and academic lives through the use of visual art.
Activities: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Service Oriented Projects, Stage Sets, African Masks, Native American Crafts, and Computer Art.

Band

Mission: The mission of the RSMMSA Band is to develop musically astute students through participation in the instrumental music program.
Activities: National Anthem Project, ASU Homecoming Parade, 1st and 2nd Year Honor Band Clinic, All County Honor Band, All District Honor Band, Large Group Performance Education, Feeder Schools Recruitment Visits, 8th Grade Performance with DCHS and MCHS During Pre-Game, Holiday Concert, Spring Concert and Awards Program, Spring Trip, and Fundraisers.

Book Club

Mission: To enhance children’s knowledge of the genres, techniques used by authors to tell a story, and to create a love of reading
Activities: Dinner and a book, meeting a local author and sharing about the selection

Mission: to teach proper skills and to teach team play and sportsmanship

Mission: to teach skills that are essential to the physical and social development of the student athlete.

Mission: To enhance the lives and experiences of young people through teamwork and motivation.  These shall be accomplished through the support of all athletic events, academic celebrations and community involvement.
Activities: All scheduled football and basketball games, homecoming parade, pep rallies and school celebrations.
