Honors, Pre-Law & Multimedia
Magnet School Mission: The Albany Middle School Magnet
Program will capture and nurture students' innate interests in
multimedia, develop practical understanding of American law
and the criminal justice system, while preparing them to
investigate, explore, and examine all academic subjects
through a rigorously implemented honors curriculum.

Albany Middle
School offers middle school programs that meet the approved
criteria for the Georgia Performance Standards (GPS). GPS
provides established standards by which students are taught
and by which their work is evaluated. Albany Middle school
also offers safety nets for remediation before, during
and after school.
Parents and community are a
vital part of Albany Middle School. The school has an active
PTO and enjoys an active band booster organization.
Partners and parents provide financial support for school
activities.
