Student Records and Transcripts
Records of former students often are needed for employment, continuing education, and entrance to the military. The Transcript Services staff stores and maintains all student records in their "ORIGINAL" format. If there are any discrepancies with a name, birthday, etc., a "CERTIFIED" copy of the student's birth certificate MUST be presented. Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent/guardian/responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student’s written consent.
Former students and alumni of Dougherty County Schools, education verification companies, educational institutions and government agencies can now request High School Transcripts and Graduation Verifications using the MySchoolBucks online request program. Simply, complete the online request process and pay online. If you are a current student, you may obtain a transcript from your school counselor or throughwww.gafutures.org.
All requests will be checked for accuracy. Any inaccurate information may result in your record not being processed. All communication with regard to your order, payment, our progress, and the records delivery will be sent via email.
Mailed requests or graduation verification must include a $5.00 money order or business check made out to "Dougherty County School System."
All requests are processed within 3 business days of receipt of the request.
