• The Budget

  • Each year, the Dougherty County School System and the Dougherty County Board of Education are required by law to adopt a budget. This budget attempts to predict revenues and expenditures over the course of the 12-month fiscal year that begins each July 1. Before the budget is adopted, the BOE is required to hold two public hearings to gather input from community stakeholders before adopting the budget each year by June 30.
