  • Into Orbit STEM Camp
    Robots, Drones, STEM, Programming, and Lots of Games! Students will participate in fun learning activities guided by the 4C Academy Commodores Robotics Team. Open to boys and girls. Grades 2-6.
     
    DATES: June 24th - 28th. 8:30 am until 3:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.
     
    COST: $225 per student. Space is limited.

    FOR K– 5th GRADERS 

    Art Around the World:  June 3-7, 9 am-4 pm

    This camp is split into two camps—K-2nd graders and 3rd-5th graders. The young campers will “visit” European locales and create impressionist landscapes and selfie masterpieces.

    Amazing Egypt and Other Architectural Wonders: June 17-21, 9 am-4 pm

     In two camps (K-2nd graders and 3rd-5th graders), kids will build their own versions of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Great Pyramids and other famous sites.

    Tour de Cuisine: July 8-14, 9 am-noon

    Always one of our most popular camps, Chef Todd White, a Georgia Grown chef who heads the culinary arts department at Albany Technical College, will lead adventurous young eaters and chefs-in-training on a culinary world tour. (Free early drop-off at 8 am is available for this camp.)

    Mixed Up Mediums: July 15-19, 9 am-4 pm

    There’s something new every day this week, with printmaking, painting, collage, sculpture, and photography.

    FOR AGES 7-10

     

    Artrepreneur: June 24-28, 9 am-4 pm

    Campers will devise and execute their art-related businesses over the week, then sell their art/product on Friday from 4-5 pm.

    FOR 6th-8th GRADERS

     

    Middle School Animation:  June 10-14, 9 am-3 pm

    Campers will be taught basic techniques of animation and will create a short video. Students will need to bring a smartphone, tablet or personal computer with transfer and charging cords.

    Early bird registration: AMA members, $165; non-members, $185.

    After May 15 cost: AMA members, $180; non-members, $205.

    FOR HIGH SCHOOLERS

     

    Fashion Forward: June 24-28, 9 am-3 pm

    Taught by Heather Ashberry, of Beatrice Wormwood, students will get a crash course in fashion design. The class will culminate in a display of each student’s work on Friday from 3-5 pm.  Students will be required to provide some supplies.

    Early bird registration: AMA members, $170; non-members, $190.

    After May 15 cost: AMA members, $190; non-members, $210.

  • Mt. Olive Community Outreach Center Summer Camp Enrichment
    A nine-week program from 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Mondays thru Fridays.
     
    Cost: $500 for the entire camp and includes all field trips, morning snack, lunch and supper, camp t-shirt and much more.
    Academics on Mondays thru Wednesdays from 9 am to 12 noon. Swimming lessons for each participant, two days each week.

  • 4-H Cloverleaf Camp at Rock Eagle


    4-H Camp for 4th-6th grade students. Enjoy sailing, canoeing, swimming, high ropes courses and more. Lodging, meals, insurance and a camp t-shirt are included!

  • Queens-R-Us, Inc Summer Day Camp


    This is an 8-week summer day camp for girls, K-12, that will help boost our girls' self-confidence, know their worth and find their purpose, as well as benefit from certified teachers for the Educational Power Hour. There will be games, music, dance, art and crafts, STEM program, fitness activities, field trips and so much more! The camp will be from May 28th through July 19th, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The location is 944 W. Oglethorpe Blvd. Albany, GA 31701.
