Westover Academy of Medical Arts is a college preparatory center of excellence designed for incoming ninth graders interested in health science, pre –medicine, pre-pharmacy and pre-veterinary medicine. Students are required to enter in the ninth grade as they are required to complete a total of eight science courses ( two per year ) over four years . The standards and expectations for attending the Academy of Medical Arts are detailed in specific guidelines for academic achievement and behavior.

We welcome cultural diversity as this can increase students' understanding of different people and cultures.
We expect all students to maintain the academic focus daily and perform well academically. Students will be challenged with a challenging curriculum, as challenging expectations increase individual student performance.
