Our job as educators is to facilitate this process by helping students BEGIN the arduous process of becoming a life-long learner. During this process, we encourage students to BELIEVE in themselves and trust in their abilities. Through maturation and armed with all the skills and knowledge of a well -rounded education, our students can become whatever they choose!

Albany Middle School offers middle school programs that meet the approved criteria for the Georgia Performance Standards (GPS). GPS provides established standards by which students are taught and by which their work is evaluated. Albany Middle school also offers safety nets for remediation before, during and after school.
