Dougherty High Wins Region Student Ambassador Competition

The Dougherty High School Secretary of State Student Ambassadors recently won 1st place in the Region 2 leadership competition.

The student ambassadors work in alignment with the Secretary of State's office to promote voter registration among their peers and volunteerism in the community.

The competition consisted of a number of community activities that each group across the state had to implement and offer to the community. This year was the first year that DCSS had high school teams to participate in the statewide program.

There were 28 other teams in Region 2.
