Alice Coachman Promotes Role of Fathers in Education

Alice Coachman Elementary School celebrated Doughnuts for Dads on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.

The fathers and significant men in the students’ lives attended a juice and doughnut breakfast in the cafeteria. The guest speaker was Mr. Kenneth Nance, a State Farm Insurance Agent. He communicated to the “Fathers” that they play a crucial role in the development of their child’s education, and the time and energy they invest in their child's academic life will play a vital role in their success.

After the program, the fathers were excited to spend time with their child. Every child was thrilled to receive a complimentary hat from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. Ms. Nikieria Hall, the Parent Facilitator, coordinated this great event.
