A small group of Live Oak students attended a short trip to Georgia's Own Credit Union to decorate their Christmas tree. The Westover branch welcomed the students with a tour of the bank. Students then decorated the main lobby tree with ornaments made by students in Art class with Miss Nakimer Daniels, Art teacher. The students were treated to doughnuts and water while they heard the story, "Twas the Night Before Christmas". Josh Howell and Becky Belcher of Georgia's Own facilitated this event. Georgia's Own is a Partner in Excellence with Live Oak Elementary School.
