The faculty and students from Sherwood Acres Elementary school recently had the opportunity to experience the Barn Hill Preserve Educational Animals Program from Louisiana. Barn Hill Preserve is currently on a mobile tour in Georgia and they made a stop at Sherwood Acres Elementary. Their mobile educators covered a variety of topics including a focus on biology, ecology, environmental stewardship, responsible pet ownership, life science, and much more! Faculty, staff, and students were able to see several live exotic animals and take pictures with the animals as well.
