ALBANY  -- Two DCSS leaders were the first to present a leadership session to the inaugural class of the District's Aspiring Leaders Academy recently. 

Turner Elementary School Principal LaVenice Grace and Assistant Principal Amanda Holmes led the session on Successful Principal, A.P. Relationships, as well as on the Role of the Assistant Principal. 

Dougherty County School System Superintendent Kenneth Dyer kicked off the cohort's program year in November by welcoming the group of aspiring leaders into the program -- which seeks to prepare the next crop of DCSS leaders for life as administrators or instructional coaches. The program is managed by Dr. Ufot Inyang.
