LaVenice Grace, principal at Turner Elementary School, has been named to the 2023 Class of South Ga. LEADS, the organization reported this week.
According to the group's announcement on Facebook, Grace is one of 28 class participants who were selected through a rigorous application process to represent our region. Over the next 8 months, this group of community leaders will work collectively towards creating effective solutions to address significant challenges related to workforce development, education, and economic growth throughout South Georgia.
South GeorgiaLEADS is a leadership immersion program for citizens throughout South Georgia designed to facilitate awareness of issues that are essential to the future success of the region. It does this by giving participants the necessary skills and training needed to effectively lead South Georgia in the 21st Century economy.
