On December 12, 2020, Robert A. Cross Middle Magnet School Academic Team competed against six other schools within their region in the 2020-2021 PAGE Academic Bowl for Middle Grades Virtual Regional Competition.

The regional competition was held virtually in which the students logged in from their homes between the hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm to answer six rounds of academic questions over various academic topics to include English/Literature, Math, Science, Social Science/History (including GA)/Geography, Current Events, Art/Music, PE/Health, and Computer Science. Students were presented with one question at a time, one word at a time in which they were required to type in their response within 10 seconds from the time of buzzing in.

Robert Cross’s academic team is composed of sixth through eighth grade students. These students did an outstanding job representing our school in this competition and in doing so, they will be advancing to the state Academic Bowl Competition scheduled for January 23, 2021.

Congratulations to the students for their hard work and thank you to the parents for your support in ensuring that your students participated in the event. Way to Go Eagles on a job well done. This year's competition was unlike any other and as always you stepped up to the challenge and you persevered.
