The Dougherty County School System has a number of non-zoned magnet school and program offerings for parents. These schools and programs accept students on a first-come, first-served basis and may have unique entry requirements based on the school or program. The application window will open on January 23, 2026.

Deadline to apply is based on student’s grade in the 2026-2027 school year:

• Grades:  9th-12th - March 20, 2026 (Parents will be notified of acceptance by April 9, 2026)

• Grades: K-8th - April 6, 2026 (Parents will be notified of acceptance by April 20, 2026.)
