Every school day is an opportunity for your child to learn, grow, and make progress toward their academic goals. Regular attendance and arriving at school on time are important parts of helping students experience success.

When students miss school, they miss valuable instructional time that cannot always be fully recreated. They may miss classroom instruction, discussions, assignments, activities, and opportunities to practice important skills. Over time, missed instruction can make it more difficult for students to keep up with their coursework and maintain academic progress.

If your family is experiencing an attendance barrier, please communicate with us so that we can support! Being in school today helps prepare students for tomorrow. Every day of attendance is an opportunity to learn something new, build important skills, strengthen relationships, and take another step toward reaching their goals.

Northside Elementary School Parent Notice Dear Northside Families, We want to make you aware of a minor incident that occurred at school today involving an HVAC unit. An HVAC unit malfunctioned in one of our classrooms. Out of an abundance of caution, we immediately relocated the classroom and subsequently cleared the entire hallway/wing. Our students and staff followed our safety procedures, and the area was secured. No one was in danger, and all students and staff are safe. Our maintenance team is addressing the HVAC issue, and we will continue to monitor the situation to ensure the affected area is safe and comfortable before it is occupied again. Thank you for your continued trust and partnership as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our Northside students and staff. Greetings! Next week is the final week before we are out for Fall Break, and we will be celebrating Homecoming! Show your school spirit by participating in our week of dress up days!

Greetings Parents & Families! On early dismissal days such as today and tomorrow, September 4th, students are released at 12:30pm. Early checkout is allowed up until 12:00pm. After that, students will be held until 12:30pm and dismissed at that time. Also, please have your ID available whenever you are checking a student out. The individual who checks the student out must also be listed in IC.

Greetings! Parents/guardians, there is NO after school program today, tomorrow, or for the remainder of the school year. The Extended Day Learning Program concluded last week. Please plan to pick students up daily at 2:30pm for the remainder of the school year. Thank you and have a great day!
