ALBANY -- At least two Dougherty County School System robotics teams are advancing to the Super Regional Competition in Columbus after standout performances at the Albany FIRST LEGO League Regional Tournament this past weekend.
The Sherwood Byters and the Robert Harvey Bulldog Bots each secured the prestigious Champions Award in their respective tournaments at the regional FIRST robotics tournament at Monroe High School, guaranteeing their advancement. The award recognizes teams that demonstrate excellence across all components of the competition, including robotics design, innovation, teamwork, and overall performance.
