We are thrilled to share that Judy Li, a member of the Westover High School Civics Club, has achieved a remarkable accomplishment. Her student-authored bill has been officially selected and published in the 82nd Youth Assembly Bill Book. Judy will have the opportunity to present and defend her legislation during the upcoming Youth Assembly Conference, taking place November 30–December 2 in Atlanta, Ga.
This prestigious event will allow Judy to take on the role of a lawmaker, engage in policy debate, and collaborate with students from across the state. Being selected to have her legislation considered for enactment into Youth Assembly law is a testament to her hard work, civic awareness, and leadership skills.
