Westover High School is celebrating two remarkable accomplishments as students prepared for and participated in this year’s Georgia Youth Assembly.
Earlier this month, Judy Li's student-authored bill was officially selected and published in the 82nd Youth Assembly Bill Book, an honor reserved for standout legislative proposals from across the state. Adding to this success, Journey Jordan represented Westover this past weekend with exceptional skill during the Assembly. He successfully defended Judy's bill, leading it to passage in both the House and the Senate. The legislation earned further distinction when it was named the top student-authored bill of the entire session. Jordan’s preparation, confidence, and thoughtful engagement made him stand out among delegates statewide.
Together, these achievements highlight the continued excellence of Westover High School’s Civics Club and the outstanding leadership of its student participants.
