We’ve done it again! We are thrilled to announce that senior Qe’Asia Arnold has been named the 1st Place National Winner in the prestigious Congressional Art Competition!
This win marks the second consecutive year that a Westover High School art student has secured national recognition and will have artwork representing Georgia in Washington, D.C This victory shows Westover’s status as a national powerhouse for the arts. Qe’Asia masterpiece is currently en route to D.C. to begin its year long exhibition.
Qe’Asia and her parents have been invited by the Congressional Art Institute to a special reception this June. Southwest Airlines is generously providing the round-trip tickets for Qe’Asia and her family to fly to D.C. for the unveiling.
To say we are proud teachers is a understatement! Our Westover art students truly are among the best in the nation.
