The Foreign Language Department and International Club led by Ms. Sally Dugger hosted our annual International Fair this past Friday! Students and parents were invited to learn about various cultures from around the world by engaging with the student-created booths and activities!

WHS Celebrates World AIDS Day: Monday, December 1, 2025
World AIDS Day, observed annually on December 1st since 1988, is an international day dedicated to raising awareness about the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV and to honoring the lives lost to the disease.
At Westover Comprehensive High School, Westover’s Delta GEMS and EMBODI, under the sponsorship of Mrs. Jacqueline Floyd, partnered with youth group volunteers Dr. Kim Preyer and Mrs. Floria Truitt, along with Delta GEMS member Sha’nya Taylor, distributed informational pamphlets on HIV/AIDS to students during their lunch periods. The pamphlets were provided by Mrs. Remy Hutchins, District Program Manager for the Southwest Georgia Public Health Department.
