We had a wonderful time at our Math & Science Showcase this evening! Thank you to the math and science teachers and their students who engaged us with their subjects and to all of the families who attended the event! Thank you to our Parent Facilitator, Ms. Shelton, for working to engage our families with our school! It's the best at the West!!!

Georgia State Fair Art Competition: Our Westover Art Club students have done it again! They participated in the prestigious statewide event and, once more, came home on top, earning top awards.

We are excited to share that Westover HOSA placed both 2nd and 3rd place in the Digital Brochure Contest! Additionally, our students Harmony James and Ivyona Jones successfully passed the Statesman Exam!

Our faculty acknowledged ASU's upcoming Homecoming yesterday by asking everyone to represent the RAMily!

Our HOSA members gave back to the community during the month of September by collecting hygiene products for the homeless. Yesterday, we donated all collected items to the Liberty House of Albany, a nonprofit organization that provides emergency shelter, advocacy, and support services for victims of domestic violence and their children.

We are proud of our students for their generosity and commitment to making a positive impact in our community!

📌 Save the Date: FAFSA Presentation & Completion Workshop

Seniors, mark your calendars! On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (during lunch), we will be hosting a FAFSA Presentation/Completion session with Jonita Coleman from Georgia Student Finance (GSFC).

She will guide you through how to fill out and complete your FAFSA. If you and your parent need assistance, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity so you can get this important step done early.
