Alice Coachman Elementary School is excited to announce our special event, Picnic & Pages: Lunch on the Lawn, on Friday, November 21, 2025!

We invite you to join us for this special literacy celebration. During this event, students and their families will have the opportunity to enjoy an outdoor lunch while sharing a love for reading. Library books will be available for families to read together, fostering a meaningful literacy experience in a relaxed setting. The school cafeteria will provide a sack lunch for students.

To ensure comfort, we ask that each student bring a towel to sit on while enjoying lunch on the lawn. If you have multiple children attending Alice Coachman Elementary School, we encourage you to remain on campus for each of their scheduled lunch periods so you may share this experience with all of them.
Please take a moment to review the lunch schedule for each grade level, provided on the back of this letter.
We look forward to celebrating the joy of reading with our students and families at Picnic & Pages. Thank you for your continued support in promoting literacy and a love of books.

Students have remote learning day November 10th (Please make sure students complete the packages teachers sent home)
