Morning Drop-Off Procedures — Effective Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16, 2026
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Families have been given time to adjust their morning schedules and become familiar with our arrival procedures. Beginning tomorrow, all morning drop-off procedures will be strictly enforced to ensure the safety of our students, families, and staff.
Morning drop-off begins at 7:00 AM. Students should be dropped off using the designated morning drop-off line, where duty staff are available to safely receive and supervise them.
Please Remember:
No park-and-release is permitted.
Please remain in your vehicle and use the designated morning drop-off line.
If you choose to park, you must walk your child all the way into the front office.
Students may not be released from a parking space to walk to the building or meet duty staff.
Walking your child only to the steps is not permitted.
Parents arriving into the parking lot after 7:45 AM must park and walk their child into the front office.
Our duty staff cannot safely monitor students who are released from vehicles in parking areas. These procedures are in place to protect students, parents, and staff and to maintain a safe and orderly arrival.
Failure to follow established school arrival and safety procedures may result in administrative actions.

Lincoln Families, Fall Picture Day is Friday, October 2, 2026!

Students must wear their school uniform for pictures. Please make sure your child is dressed in a solid red, solid white, or solid navy blue shirt with solid khaki or navy blue bottoms. Clothing should have no designs or patterns, and students should not wear jewelry for pictures.

Students in Grades 2–5 will soon participate in the DRC BEACON assessment. This assessment provides teachers with valuable information about what students know and the areas where they may need additional support.

Help Your Child Do Their Best!

Make sure your child is at school and on time each day of testing.
Encourage a good night's sleep.
Make sure your child eats breakfast.
Remind your child to take their time and do their very best.
Encourage them with a positive message: “You've got this!”

Lincoln Elementary Magnet School is excited to welcome our families to our Back to the Basics: A Family Information Night on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 5:30–7:00 PM!

Join us as we learn, connect, and build a strong foundation for a successful school year. Families will receive important information about academics, school expectations, student support services, parent engagement, and ways to stay connected and involved.

Good evening Parents,
We want to say thank you to all of the parents and guardians who have been in compliance with our school uniform policy. Your support helps create a positive, safe, and distraction-free learning environment for all of our students.

As a friendly reminder, all uniform shirts must be free of logos, monograms, or insignias. We have noticed that some students are arriving at school wearing shirts with logos, which are not permitted under our school uniform policy.

Beginning next week, if a student arrives wearing a shirt with a logo, monogram, or insignia, a parent or guardian will be contacted to bring an appropriate change of clothing so the student can comply with the school dress code.

We appreciate your partnership and cooperation in helping us maintain a consistent and professional appearance for all Lincoln Lions. If you have any questions regarding the uniform policy, please contact the school office.

This is a reminder that morning duty staff are on duty until 7:45 AM. If you arrive into the parking lot at 7:45 AM or later, you must park and walk your child into the building.

Morning drop-off begins at 7:00 AM daily. We kindly ask that you adjust your arrival time to help prevent heavy traffic and ensure a smooth drop-off process.

Please note again, if you ENTER the parking lot at 7:45 AM or after, you are required to park and walk your child inside.
If your child will be eating breakfast, they must be in the building no later than 7:50 AM.
