Aspire Behavioral Health is Georgia’s safety-net provider for mental health, addiction, and developmental disability services. They work to foster health, hope, and recovery through trauma-informed, recovery-focused care. Aspire partners with local organizations, promotes behavioral health awareness, and provides early intervention and community-based services that meet individuals where they are while empowering them to define their own path to well-being.

Screening Services:
- Diabetes Testing
- Cholesterol Screening
This no-cost service is available to both DCSS staff and parents. I encourage everyone to take advantage of this preventive health opportunity to stay informed about your overall wellness.

Our DCSS Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Department offers support for students and families beyond the classroom, including academic support, family resources, and community connections.
For additional support, please contact Danita Wiggins, Wraparound Coordinator, at 229-431-3432. Mrs. Wiggins can help coordinate services and connect you with community resources tailored to your family's specific needs.
The DCSS Resource and Support Center is located at 722 Corn Ave., Albany, GA 31701. This center offers on-site clothing closet and various family support services.
LRE also have a Family Resource Center in Room 313. You may reach out to: Charlette Pines, Parent Facilitator charlette.reddix@docoschools.org if you are in need of educational supplies, shoes and clothing.
November is National Family Engagement Month, a time to celebrate the crucial role parents and families play in their children’s education. When schools work together with families to support learning, children are more motivated to succeed, not just in school, but throughout life.
