Westover HOSA students proudly served as the first responders during the entire Alumni Day tailgate event. We set up a first aid tent and had two occasions where students provided first aid support. This experience gave our students valuable real-world exposure to healthcare and emergency response. Our students worked in shifts throughout the day while also gathering donations.
I’m pleased to share that the HOSA club collected a total of $3,185.98. We are grateful for the generosity of everyone who contributed and for the continued support of our school community.
Thank you again for supporting our students as they learn, serve, and grow through these opportunities.

Several athletes of the Lady Patriots Flag Football team had the privilege of attending the Falcons Girls Flag Football Clinic & Coaches Seminar, held in partnership with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where they learned valuable tips and strategies to share with our team. Everyone had an amazing time building skills to take their flag football game to the next level. Our team is coached by Mrs. Keyioca Rod.

Westover High School Class of 2024 graduate, Haley Hamm, recently participated in the Undergraduate Research Symposium at the University of West Georgia where she presented her college-level research to faculty, peers, and academic professionals.
Haley proudly credits her experience competing in the Social Studies Fair and taking AP U.S. History at Westover as instrumental in preparing her for this opportunity. She says the foundation built during her time at Westover helped shape her confidence and research skills at the university level.
Even more exciting, Haley has been invited back to present at the symposium again next year, a testament to the strength of her work and her commitment to academic excellence.
Congratulations to Haley Hamm for putting Westover High School and Albany, Georgia in the research spotlight!
It's the Best at the West!
