In honor of the life and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., school will be closed this Monday, January 19th.
Dr. King famously said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'" Whether you spend the day volunteering or resting with loved ones, I hope it is a day of peace and reflection.
Classes will resume as usual on Tuesday, January 20th.

Albany Middle School students are scheduled to begin the 2026 Georgia Student Health Survey on January 15. This survey helps us better understand and support our students' well-being.
Important Deadline:
Opt-Out Forms: All students will participate unless a signed Opt-Out letter is returned to the school by today, January 14, 2026.
Participation: Survey participation is required for all students who do not have a signed letter on file.

These two individuals go above and beyond the call of duty. They are not only outstanding, dedicated educators and caring individuals during school hours, but they also show their commitment to our students and community before, during, and long after the school day ends.

As the beautiful season of autumn deepens, we are delighted to announce our upcoming Thanksgiving Break. Please note that school will be closed from
Monday, November 24th, through Friday, November 28th. We will happily welcome everyone back to school on Monday, December 1st.
