As the beautiful season of autumn deepens, we are delighted to announce our upcoming Thanksgiving Break. Please note that school will be closed from
Monday, November 24th, through Friday, November 28th. We will happily welcome everyone back to school on Monday, December 1st.

This is a friendly reminder that 2nd Nine Weeks Progress Reports are now available for viewing in Infinite Campus. We encourage all parents to log in through the Parent Portal to review your child’s current grades and academic progress. Click on the link https://shorturl.at/9fRC6 for more detailed information.
📬 At-Risk Letters will also be sent home to notify parents of any student who may be in danger of failing or who requires additional academic support.
🎓 Report Cards will be distributed on Thursday, January 9, 2026.

Monday, November 10, 2025, is our second Remote Learning Day for all students in grades 6–8. Students received extra credit assignments at the end of school today to bring home. Please take time to complete these engaging activities in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies and return them to your teachers.

Thank you for your generous contributions to our Annual Candy Drive during the last week of October! Because of your kindness, we were able to give our students an exciting walk through the haunted house and a bag of candy at the end of their journey. 🍬🎃
This tradition is our way of giving back to our students and demonstrating that fun can be safe, structured, and community-driven. The joy and excitement on their faces made every donation worthwhile!
Parents and guardians, we truly appreciate your partnership and support. At AMS, we are a TEAM with one common goal — to educate our youth. Yes, our students deserve to have fun, but that fun should always come after they have met their educational requirements and expectations for the week.

DIVAS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MEET & GREET EAT & PAINT NIGHT 💕
Our AMS DIVAS had an incredible time connecting, painting, and enjoying great food together in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💗 It was a night filled with creativity, laughter, and sisterhood.

Each year, the REACH Georgia Scholarship is awarded to deserving students who demonstrate excellence in academics, behavior, and attendance throughout high school. Recipients earn $10,000 to support their college tuition!

What a wonderful way to end the week! This past Friday, October 24, 2025, AMS celebrated the academic success of our students with the 1st Nine-Weeks Honor Roll Celebration!
A huge round of applause goes out to the 146 students who made the honor roll this nine-weeks—you all earned it! It was a fantastic Carnival-themed celebration!
We'd also like to send a special thank you to the AMS Honor Roll Committee for all their hard work in making this a terrific and memorable event for our students!
