I love nothing more than Cowboys and Indians — especially when it means celebrating our amazing students and school spirit! Whether it’s in the classroom, on the field, or in the hallways, our pride and traditions shine bright every day here at Albany Middle School.
Let’s keep making this year one to remember — full of learning, laughter, and community pride!

I wanted to extend my sincerest thanks for Mr. Bullard visiting the Indian Nation today. It was a true honor to have him here.
More than that, I am so incredibly grateful for his mentorship over the past 10 years. His guidance has been invaluable to me, and I wouldn't be where I am today without his support. I personally thank him for everything his has taught me about leadership, but most of all the value of true friendship.
Sincerely,
Principal Simmons

Dear AMS Families,
Welcome to our Sunflower Year at AMS — a year of growth, pride, and excellence! As we begin this exciting journey together, we ask that all students and parents take time to review the 2025–2026 AMS Student Handbook together.
📘 Student Handbook Link: https://shorturl.at/x6wG2
This handbook outlines important expectations, policies, procedures, and resources designed to support every student’s success. At AMS, we accept and expect only the BEST — in behavior, attitude, and academic effort.
Please ensure that both you and your child understand the guidelines, as we believe a strong home-school partnership sets the foundation for a successful school year.
Thank you for your continued support as we build belief today and lead tomorrow. Let’s make this Sunflower Year one to remember!
With AMS Pride,
Principal Simmons
